Owner and Trainer
Cindy has always been passionate about animals. Starting with a professional career in the horse industry both managing one of the top Hunter Stables in North America and working with a Canadian Equestrian Team member her focus easily transitioned to dogs and training. She loves to train and compete with her own dogs and has been involved in competitive dog sports for the last 20+ years, while actively working with different trainers and attending seminars to continue to build on her skills and knowledge.
For 25+ years Cindy has been an instrumental part in running Border Collie Rescue Ontario, working to rehabilitate and re-home dogs in need, she also works with owners to help give them the skills to manage and solve behavioral issues as an alternative to relinquishing their pets. She is known to reach out to other rescue groups to help with problem dogs. All of Cindy and Chris' dogs are rescue dogs.
Cindy taught Obedience and agility classes with Swansea Dog Obedience club for a number of years in Toronto as well as spending 2.5 yrs working as Training Director for SuperDog Central. She enjoyed offering private behavior and sport training in central Toronto. Her classes always prove to be high energy, positive and productive.
Cindy lives in the Oshawa area with her partner Chris and their fur kids.

Chris is a chef by trade and is well known for his 'yummy' treats at training events, while he works hard he loves to get out and play lots with the dogs in his free time.
Working with Border Collie Rescue Ontario for over 20 years, he has been a vital part of helping to rehabilitate and rehome foster dogs.
While agility is a main focus, Chris loves to do disc work with the dogs and has in the past qualified both his rescue dogs Cowboy and Wick to World Competition. Chris has a great calm, natural way with the dogs and training is always fun and positive.
